Pregnancy is beautiful, but it can also be exhausting, overwhelming, confusing, and scary. I know I felt all of those things when I found out I was pregnant at only nineteen, and then again when I found out I was pregnant with twins five years later. But one thing that it doesn’t have to be is lonely. This is a space where I will share my pregnancy journey, along with any tips and tricks that I picked up along the way. Whether you’re pregnant now, hoping to be, or just curious, you’re welcome here.

The Price of a Choice

September 29, 2026

The story I am about to tell is one of the most painful experiences I have ever gone through. Many of the details have been long-repressed, and as a result, it is even hard to tell this story because of how much I have forgotten. But still, after months of pondering it, sharing this story … More The Price of a Choice

The Angel in the Bathroom

August 9, 2026

The first time I found out I was pregnant was just a few weeks shy of my twentieth birthday, and a few weeks after that, I’m pretty sure I met an angel. My then-husband and I had only been married for a little over four months, and we certainly hadn’t been expecting me to become … More The Angel in the Bathroom

My Experience With a High-Risk Pregnancy

March 5, 2026

The first thing my doctor said to me was, “So as I’m sure you know, since you’re pregnant with twins, that does technically put you in the high-risk category.” I was stunned. For some reason, hearing that my pregnancy was high-risk was a shock. … More My Experience With a High-Risk Pregnancy

Things to Never Say to a Pregnant Twin Mom

February 11, 2026

Receiving unsolicited advice, stares, and touches unfortunately comes with the territory when you’re pregnant. A lot of it is born from good intentions, but that doesn’t make it okay. I thought I had heard all of the crazy, unhinged comments during my first pregnancy. I had strangers ask if I was married, if I was … More Things to Never Say to a Pregnant Twin Mom

Learning to Love Pregnancy

January 18, 2026

While I’m grateful to have the ability to be pregnant, that gratitude co-exists with not recognizing who I see when I look in the mirror. Despite knowing that I’m literally making a human inside of my body, I struggle with all of the mental, emotional, and physical changes that come with pregnancy. … More Learning to Love Pregnancy

Managing Law School While Pregnant

January 4, 2026

You change when you’re in law school. Ask any attorney. It’s a unique, intense, difficult, and refining process. If it wasn’t, it would be too easy. Law school changes the way you think, the way you manage your time, the way your view yourself, your peers, and the world. When things get tough, you find … More Managing Law School While Pregnant

Supporting Your Partner During Pregnancy

December 14, 2025

We had planned on a tough pregnancy, but the one thing I hadn’t anticipated was how supported and taken care of I would feel throughout it. I might be physically carrying our children, but in a way my husband is carrying me and our girls by how supportive and involved he is during this pregnancy. … More Supporting Your Partner During Pregnancy

When Pregnancy Feels Like Anything But a Gift

November 28, 2025

Nobody said being pregnant with twins would be easy. But I didn’t want to spend the rest of my pregnancy completely miserable. When pregnancy feels like anything but a gift, it’s important to find something — anything — to be grateful for, and to focus on the little wins. … More When Pregnancy Feels Like Anything But a Gift

Pregnancy After Loss

October 11, 2025

No amount of tests and scans can fully alleviate the uncertainty and anxiety that tends to haunt a pregnancy after a loss. We are over the moon to be expecting two new babies, but nothing could have prepared me for how hard pregnancy after loss would be. … More Pregnancy After Loss

How I Knew I Was Expecting Twins

September 13, 2025

I was very happy to say, “I told you so!” to those who thought I was crazy for thinking it was twins. And although they were right in the sense that there’s no surefire way to know you’re expecting twins before getting an ultrasound, here are some of the things that convinced me I was expecting two. … More How I Knew I Was Expecting Twins
